April is Limb Difference Awareness Month! Help us celebrate those who live with limb differences or have experienced limb loss by visiting our display in the Children's Area of the library!
Our exhibit will feature a variety of books celebrating people with differing abilities, including those with limb difference and limb loss. We will also feature a live demonstration of our 3D printer creating a prosthetic hand. 3D printed prosthetic devices can be more closely customized to fit individuals and are often cheaper to produce than traditional prosthetics- making this a rapidly advancing use of 3D printing technology for those with limb differences!
