Be a part of the Tiny Art Show at the library! Original art by members of the community will be on display in the Skywalk Gallery at the Downtown Library from Jan. 28-Feb 27.
To participate, register at CRLibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack App and register for the Tiny Art Show. Then pick up a Tiny Art Show Kit starting Saturday, Jan. 7 and get creative! Use the supplies we provide or your own - just keep it family friendly. Registration and kits will be available while supplies last or until Jan. 26.
Bring your completed masterpiece to the library by Thursday, Jan. 26 with your name on the back and an arrow on the back with "this side up" so we can keep track of each piece and hang it the right direction. Then fill in details on the Beanstack Challenge about your piece and yourself so we can include them in the display. After the exhibit is over, you may pick up your art until March 31.
View the creativity of your community while picking up supplies for your next creative endeavor at the Tiny Art Gallery Opening & Craft Supply Swap at the Downtown Library on Jan. 28, 1-3 pm. Bring your extra fabric, yarn, paint, beads, etc. to exchange for new-to-you items.
The library will host two workshops at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art to help get your creative juices flowing! Registration is required, and Tiny Art Show Kits will be provided at the workshops, so you do not need to register for one separately.
