This week we dig a little deeper to see what the Earth looks like under our feet and make a snack complete with edible dirt and gummy worms!

Every Monday starting June 10th through July 29th we’ll be at a different park in the city. This year we’re partnering with Linn County Education Outreach and we’ll be learning something new about agriculture- from how things grow to how we can make a positive impact on the environment. This program will be geared towards Pre-k- elementary aged kids. Attend more than five and earn an Ag Brag Certificate. We’ll also be connecting each site to the closest community garden/urban farm to give families the opportunity to learn about food production in their neighborhoods and how to get more involved in their own food production.
