Time to try something new and do it yourself. With this camp for teens, we dare you to DIY. Create and discover projects from wiring to cardboard cutting. You’ll work on your own to design and build projects. It’s all about you and your creative flair.
This week-long camp focuses on problem solving, creativity, and cooperative skills. It will include some group work. Please make sure you can attend all days of the camp prior to registering. Registration only guarantees your spot until the start of the program. Please arrive 15 minutes early on the first day to check-in.
The Downtown Library is located at 450 5th Avenue SE, in the heart of Downtown Cedar Rapids. It is a 94,000 square foot building with a variety of civic spaces and a vibrant collection of library materials. Special features of this location are the Whipple Auditorium, a 200 seat auditorium overlooking Greene Square; and the LivingLearning Roof, a green roof with public seating and space to hold special events. Roasters Café is located in the Downtown Library, providing a full service coffee shop for visitors, as well as catering for meetings and special events.
