Newcomers always welcome to this general interest book club.

This general interest book club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at Ladd Library. All are welcome.

Winter book discussion selection:

  • Dec. 10: Reader's choice 
  • Jan. 14: “The Origin of Others” by Toni Morrison 
  • Feb. 11: “James” by Percival Everett

When a title is a part of a Book Club Kit, it will be ready for pick-up the month before it is discussed. Other titles are available on Hoopla and CloudLibrary. Copies may be picked up in person or by hold at any Metro Library Network location. Contact Amy Golly at gollya@crlibrary.org if you need assistance finding books.

About the branch

The Ladd Library is located at 3750 Williams Blvd SW and is a 16,000 square foot facility. It features one community room with space for up to 50 people, which can be utilized for meetings and special events. The Ladd Library has a wonderful collection of materials, public computers, a children's library, and space to sit and read or tables to work or gather.
